All About Inclusion
Inclusion is not just about talking strategies, but about the way people engage, the way people are treated, and the way people feel about the atmosphere in which they learn, work, research, and teach.
Emory's approach to inclusion extends well beyond one office or one person with a university-wide initiative engaging a wide spectrum of people, departments, and initiatives. The Office of Equity and Inclusion facilitates this process in several ways:
- Around campus: How the Advisory Council on Community and Diversity works within and across university divisions
- Faculty recruitment: How the OEI team collaborates with hiring officials at the school level
