The intentional work of inclusion is the ongoing engagement with the principles of diversity—in our scholarship, in our curriculum, co-curriculum, business operations, and infrastructure of our institution. This work must be guided by fairness, equity, and respect. These efforts must be bound by a commitment to accountability that joins us to one another as a community.

We must be principled in the ways we innovate, create, and measure DEI progress both quantitatively and qualitatively and equity-minded in our resolve to eliminate barriers and strengthen opportunities for promotion and/or tenure for faculty, career progression for staff, and degree completion for undergraduate, graduate and professional scholars, ensuring student success.

Participate in Emory Campus Climate Survey on Racial Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

We are grateful that you raised your voices to be part of this important endeavor, and we heard you. As valued members of the Emory community, your participation in this process is critical. The Campus Climate Survey on Racial Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion 2.0 will be open from February 16, 2022 to March 16, 2022. The relaunch includes all part-time regular and temporary employees (adjunct faculty, volunteers, and staff), emeritus faculty, medical residents, and newly employed regular full-time Emory community members (faculty and staff). Be sure to make your voice heard.

Administered by the National Assessment of Collegiate Campus Climates (NACCC), the Emory survey was available October 26, 2021 - November 23, 2021.
